Hello
po!
This week I learned a lot! I
learned for one, "that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings,
ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17) and that these
things are for our wisdom. I faced a little more persecution this week than I
normally do, and I had to follow the example of the early saints and feel
gratitude that I could suffer for the Lord's sake. I know he understands us. I
know now more than ever that this is His work, not really mine. I'm grateful
that conversion comes from the spirit and not from my skills and capabilities
because I find myself lacking a bit haha.
Speaking of conversion, we
have a BAPTISIMAL DATE woohooo
We're excited. Our friend is
awesome. She's going to be a great addition to the church and someday a great
missionary! She's 17 years old and we've been working with her for a while. We
had a really great conversation last night about Joseph Smith, and what it
means to know that He's a prophet. I felt now more than ever that she's ready,
and she feels that way too! She told us that she doesn't want to wait until the
end of February to be baptized but we told her she had too lol. She has shown a
lot of maturity since I have known her, she's way cool. She's like the
filipino/girl version of Thomas, I love hanging out with her haha.
Thanks for all your prayers!
the people here are receiving blessings because of your time to pray for
them. Be sure to add the chinese people and the people of south east asia to
your prayers, Corona Virus is spreading quickly and there is only so much they
can do about it with everyone living in such close quarters.
