Week Four - Manila MTC

Hi Mom! sorry I wasn't able to talk today, I was an escort again for a Pakistani Sister, and she was really cool!  Sister George escorted another sister too from Pakistan. I really love being in the temple, it's a nice break. That's crazy that Joe and Nat are leaving!! I can't imagine coming home without them there, that's weird ha ha. I hope they make it safe and that they have a fun time while they travel :) 

I hope Thomas has fun at trek.  Tell him to take pics in a bonnet and send it to me so I can show the people here and trick them into thinking that's what people where in SLC lol. 

This week I went proselyting again! But in the Manila mission.  It was sick!! What was crazy is that a few weeks ago, me and Sister George met this really cool blind guy at the temple, and when I was on splits with this other sister, she took me to his house because he was a member that she was friends with!  It was a weird coincidence because Manila is pretty big.  I was surprised that it was someone I knew before haha. He was cool though!  He told me my future (haha) and fed us, he's a really funny guy. 

Also, a storm came in and wiped out our power here for almost a whole day so that was crazy.  It was sad because we were just thinking about all the people in Quezon city and we all wanted to go and help but we couldn't really leave :/ Our dental clinic flooded as a result of the flood.  So almost all of the equipment was ruined so that was crazy, and we lost all our 72 hour kits.  So hopefully we can put together some new ones soon. Things are cool here though.  I hangout with the Pakistanis a lot, They're the coolest. I also saw a huge snail the other day.  It was the size of a pear. And there's a lot of frogs here too. Things are good here though.  Just getting ready to go to QC North, and hangout with the illipinos.  They're the best and the kids here are daaang cute.

Week 3 in the MTC - Study, Study, Study

Sounds like a good week! Happy anniversary!!! I'm sure Uncle Dale and Aunt Erika are having a blast at those church history sights!  Everyone I've met here would lose their MINDS to be able to go to those places, I love how much people love the church here, it makes me happy haha. 

Tell Von and Lori hello! and that I love them!! Kate and Brooke are going to be soo good. It's going to be awesome.

We have the next batch of missionaries coming in tomorrow morning, I'm excited to make lots of friends. As of this week, I got to go to Quezon City, and proselyte and it was aaaawesome. The people are so cool, and so happy. I was able to teach, testify, share a scripture and pray in tagalog which was really fun and crazy.  The people are living in tiny, tiny houses. It was humbling. Pero, the only way we can help people out here is by sharing the ebanghelyo ni Jesucristo (Gospel of Jesus Christ), it will help any situation that people are in, I see it blessing people in the Philippines . 

There were flies all over me when I was in Quezon city, I kinda felt like a cow but it was super fun too haha. I also go to ride on the jeepnys and it was siiiick. I love it here, I hope you all have a fantastic week!!!

Hello from the other side of the world!!  This week I learned to wash clothes with my hands (Yes we have washers and dryers but my companion and I had just a few things so we washed them out by hand) and I'm making lots of friends here:) I love you all, ang aklat ni mormon is true! read it for yourself and you will find out the same!
