This
week was really a good week!! We taught a good friend of ours Sharmaine,
and we showed her the Book of Mormon Video about if Adam and Eve would not have
fallen, then they would have remained in the Garden and known no Joy, and it
went really well! I love that this is something that is kind of unique to our
church. It made a lot of sense to her, and we told her that God has a purpose
and plan for each of his children, and she knows it! The spirit was really
strong, we were all pretty teary eyed. I'm grateful to be present for times
like that. It really make everything worth it, as we were teaching about joy, I
felt it!! It washed over all of us really quickly. I asked her what she felt and
she told us that she was just so happy, and we all just sat and basked in it.
We told her this was the spirit, and that He teaches truth, and bears witness
of God and His son Jesus Christ. She knows its true. We taught her the rest of
the plan of salvation the next lesson. We just need to get her to come to
church with us and pray to know if its true. I know that when she does, she'll
be ready to feel that joy anytime! We are so lucky to be missionaries. I'm so
excited to train tomorrow! I don't have a lot of expectations, so I don't feel
too nervous yet, but I do know its a big responsibility. I'm excited to start!
