I
learned a lot about myself this week. It was hard, and I had to rely on
Heavenly Father for almost everything. It's really something I should be doing
more. I know He cares about even the little things in my life.
We
have another baptism this week! The people we teach are ready for this and it
heals my heart every time we have the opportunity to be apart of their covenant
path. Even if its just a small part.
One
thing that really stood out to me during 6 week training workshops was
"how you do anything is how you do everything". It got me thinking
because for the past week i haven't seen my progress. So I just had to go back
to my basics. Ive always know that I'm not the quickest, smartest, coolest or
any of those things. I might not ever be a missionary that people look up too,
but I do try and I know Heavenly Father sees my efforts.
I'm
grateful for His help, because being a missionary is a big task, and I really
could never do this alone. I've noticed this is how I have solved other problems in my
life; I get help!! Help from Heavenly Father is definitely the best option. And I know I have come a long way because of Him. I know that Heavenly Father will help us
if we have righteous desires, that doesn't always mean it will be easy but he will
help. I really don't think it was meant to be easy. So i'll just continue to
do what I've always done when things get hard, because how you do anything is how
you do everything!
I
really do feel lucky to be here!! I feel myself changing every day and its
crazy. I'm definitely not the same person who flew alone here to the Philippines
and was scared to ask for help. I really like who I am here.
