Dear Family,
This week was good. We had another Baptism! My last for this area, which is
kind of sad. BUT I'm excited to take on this new area with sister Pay and Sister Nay. I will miss sister Espartero a lot but I'm glad she can help the
rest of the mission with her new assignment.
I found a lot of comfort this week in D&C 84:80, 83
80 And any man that shall go and preach this gospel of the kingdom, and fail
not to continue faithful in all things, shall not be weary in mind, neither
darkened, neither in body, limb, nor joint; and a hair of his head shall not
fall to the ground unnoticed. And they shall not go hungry, neither athirst.
83 For your Father, who is in heaven, knoweth that you have need of all these
things.
I really like these because when things are getting hard, or I get tired, I
know that Heavenly Father is aware, and I'm really grateful for His support in
helping people return to Him. I've noticed it with the people we teach too,
I've noticed how aware he is for all of His children here in the Philippines.
There were a lot of tender mercies this week for me for sure. I also noticed
that whenever I start to feel down, Heavenly Father always gives me an out. He
always gives me an opportunity to feel better and all I have to do is just take
that opportunity. I'm grateful to be a missionary here, I genuinely feel lucky.
I'm really going to miss the people here in this area but Sister Espartero says
that that's good because that means I really love them if I feel connected to
them.
Thanks for the support and all that you all do, I'll let you know how next week
goes!
-Sister Fuell
